CARLYLE  AND  CRAFTSMANSHIP

Craftsmanship at Carlyle begins when a prospective client enters a Carlyle showroom. A cadre of design oriented sales people will answer any questions and thoroughly demonstrate the many options that Carlyle offers. There never is pressure on the client. No phony last minute sales presure.  A memo will be provided and free fabric swatches are also available. There is no design request that cannot be accommodated and filled to the client's satisfaction. Our website says it all, but seeing and sitting is believing.

The Carlyle mantra is shop and compare. Do nott be misled by high pressure and a low cost products that fall apart after a short period of time. The manufacturing process begins when the order hits the manufacturing floor. Fabrics are meticulously inspected. Cutting is done on an individual basis and special attention is paid to matching, overlocking and generous allowances made to entirely cover the frame. All frames are made and assembled in our factory. Hardwood kiln-dried frames, dowelled, bolted and glued.

Designed to support the weight of a steel mechanism, a coil spring mattress and two people. When the frame is assembled, all sharp edges that may compromise the fabric are routed and made smooth. When the frame is ready and fabric sewn, an experienced upholsterer will painstakingly begin to apply the fabric after properly padding the frame. Paying special attention to matching fabric and gently attaching the fabric to the frame. Mass produced products have the tendency to rush the process and turn out a shoddy upholstered piece that a discerning eye will recognize as a cheap piece of furniture. When the piece is completely upholstered it is then fitted with the seats and back cushions selected by the client. At every stage the piece is scrupulously inspected by the factory manager. After the piece is inspected and found to be flawless it is photographed, carefully wrapped and ready to be delivered in our own trucks by experienced and bonded drivers. When delivery is scheduled to a clients satisfaction, the client will be given a specific 2 hour  time frame. Our truckers are trained to carefully unwrap the piece and place in the desired spot. We have the capability to deliver any piece under any condition. Our motto is "If we can't deliver it... We own it."
