Investment and Identity Protection for your Carlyle

As you already know, all Carlyle frames have always been engineered to be candidates for re-upholstery as often as needed. This is Carlyle's contribution to maintaining our natural resources, thus enabling us to to keep it "Green." It is not uncommon for a Carlyle to be re-upholstered every 10 years or so. In fact we have serviced and re-upholstered many pieces as old as 45 years.

In the past, due to manufacturing space constraints, Carlyle would recommend high quality local re-upholstery shops for clients requesting this service. This was fine when there was a multitude of reputable workrooms available. Over the past 10 years the number of shops capable of meeting Carlyle's standards of old world craftsmanship has dwindled to the point that we could not be confident with these referrals. As a result, many clients were left on their own, as we did not want to tarnish our reputation through unsatisfactory association.

Approximately two years ago we doubled the size of our manufacturing facility to 40,000 square feet. In addressing the re-upholstery issue, we have been able to now provide this service as an integral part of our business. We at Carlyle always keep our finger on the pulse of current manufacturing and designer trends. This enables our company to maintain our long standing reputation for superior workmanship and service. As such, we have applied these same high standards to refurbishing dozens of valued Carlyle pieces, as well as other manufacturers' products which still stand the test of time.

• Sofa or Sofa bed $1700 plus fabric (approx. 18-25 yards)
• Love Seat under 60" $1500 plus fabric (approx. 15-20 yards)

Effective immediately, we will be making a change to the re-upholstery program. This is being done for sanitary reasons. We are going to add an additional charge to the re-upholstery cost to include Polydacron seats and Dacron backs. We will be instructing the drivers on all new orders to leave all cushions and the mattress, if any, in the customer’s home.

Marine Re-upholstery is also available.  We just need the removable panels to either recover them with marine grade foam and fabric or recreate the whole item from scratch using, marine grade lumber and materials.
